The Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration at Our Lady of the Angels Monastery are Catholic, cloistered, contemplative nuns, dedicated to the Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. As daughters of St. Francis and St. Clare, we endeavor to live as they did, a wholly Eucharistic life. Called first by God, it is our joy to belong entirely to Him through Solemn Vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. This call to communion with God is a gift for the whole Church, where the suffering, needs, and cares of all people are remembered in prayer, and ultimately in the Heart of God. The daily rhythm of life at OLAM, anchored in the Mass, centered in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and the experience of community life, leads us through personal conversion and into union with Christ where we can say with our Holy Father Francis, “My God and My All.”
